تهدف هذه المادة إلى صقل لغة الطالب و تصحيح الأخطاء التي يقع فيها الكثيرون، و تنقسم إلى جزأين:
الجزء الأول : يهدف الى توعية الطالب بالأخطاء الشائعة في اللغة سواء في المحادثات أو تركيب الجمل أو الاخطاء الإملائية. كما سيكتسب أيضا المهارات اللازمة لتحديد هذه الاخطاء والتعامل معها بالشكل السليم لتفاديها لاحقا .
الجزء الثاني: يهدف إلى تغذية ثقافة الطالب وتسليط الضوء على بعض الموضوعات و المواقف التي قد يواجهها في الحياة اليومية والطريقة الأمثل للتصرف فيها.

Remedial English is a class you take in school when you did poorly in your previous English class and/or you are not up to caliber with the level of English class in a new school. You need to "remedy" your poor English skills so you can be just as good as everyone else in your school.
